We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated, collaborative and committed individual to fill our Network Engineering Manager position within our Global Network Engineering team.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As our Network Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in leading a team of network professionals to deliver high quality, available, redundant services according to our customer requirements. The Network Engineering Manager provides leadership, technical oversight, planning, and coordination. The Manager will provide mentoring, professional development, and career advancement opportunities to direct reports across the globe and ensure that direct reports are contributing and performing effectively. This Position is Hybrid to Austin, TX.

What you'll do:


  • Managing the outcomes of the network engineer and technical delivery engineers
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships
  • Work closely with the pre-sales team and Network Lead on designs, budgets and framework
  • Ensure SLA's and OLA's are met and reported to the business
  • Represent Networks on operational boards
  • Team and talent development
  • Supporting delivery and operation where necessary
  • Maintain continuity, capacity and compliance.

What you need to succeed:


  • 3+ years' experience as network manager
  • Experience implementing, managing and delivering within SLAs.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
  • Experience troubleshooting network devices
  • Experience in working in a multi-partner environment
  • Experience in growing a team of network talent
  • Ability to engage with a wide range of customers and experience levels.

Preferred experience:

  • Network certification (e.g. CCNP / CCIE) advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
  • Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within different business units in the company
  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable and flexible when necessary
  • Experience on Network security, LAN and WAN
  • Network Engineering or Delivery experience
  • Commercial experience
  • Experience in team development and training
  • Experience in regulated environments and critical infrastructure environments
  • Experience in Hybrid Cloud and Network Automation

Pay Range

$100,000—$100,000 USD
