We are seeking a Network Engineer - Solutions Architect II to join our team. As a key leader on
our IT team, you will be responsible for providing the enterprise solution design strategy to
support multiple customer organizations. As the Network Engineer - Solutions Architect you are
a seasoned technology leader with a track record of leading scalable distributed systems in the
DoD. In this role you will have a deep technical background building scalable solutions to
complex enterprise processes and requirements. You will be responsible for the assessment of
business requirements; collection and identification of technical specifications and development
of viable technology solutions. Additionally, you will provide input for work plans and resource
requirements and provide the technical expertise to propose level of effort estimates, work
breakdown structures and technical resource planning for proposed and current work. The
salary range for this role is $65,000 to $140,000 annually. Final compensation for this position
will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
Required

• BS/BA degree
• Thorough working knowledge of IP networking in large network
• 5+ years of experience with TCP, UDP and layer-2/layer-3 network protocols, familiarity with Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) technology
• Hands-on experience managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting issues in large networks with a mix of Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and Palo-Alto firewall system.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Desired

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
• Proficient knowledge of modern networking technologies including Software Defined Wide-Area Network (SD-WAN)
• Advanced technical knowledge and understanding of multiple architectures, applications, systems design, entity-relationships, and integration
• Demonstrated thorough understanding of modern enterprise architecture
