The Network Engineer will be part of a team which is an onsite 24/7/365 central point of contact, communication, and incident support for the technology and infrastructure. This is a hybrid role that focuses on network support but offers additional opportunities to work with all other components of IT Infrastructure. You'll be a first responder focused on keeping our network, servers, operating systems, and applications running smoothly. You'll play a central role in the health and stability of our infrastructure; this will include troubleshooting, documentation, communication, planning, implementation, and coordinating efforts to resolve issues with our partners and vendors.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- BS/BA or equivalent IT experience
- Must have the CCNA Certification
- Good understanding of network comm. and server technology - CISCO
- Familiar with monitoring tools - used some industry tools - i.e. Cisco's performance tools
- Ability to troubleshoot network communication, current server technology, and hardware
- Working knowledge of routers, switches, firewall, and CTI components
- Experience using other synthetic and real-time monitoring tools (agent-based and agentless)
- Experience with Agile implementation methodologies
- Flexibility to work any shift or day of the week, including holidays if needed
