Duties:
-Assists with the daily administration of a network/server environment. Monitors network performance and performs testing to provide diagnosis of issues and to assist with deployment of solutions.
Performs routine updates and maintenance tasks. May be responsible for tracking the parts inventory and maintenance of documentation. Emphasis is on learning the key aspects of the job to be performed and supporting more senior administrators. Typically reports to supervisor or manager.

Cisco CCNP or greater in Route/Switch preferred Engineering level experience in 2 of the following: Routing & Switching, Virtualization, Security, Storage, or Voice. Knowledge of IP network protocols including BGP and OSPF Network security experience with IPSEC, VPN, SSL VPN, Data Acceleration and optimization Proficiency in MLPS, MPLS VPN, WLAN, and VRF-Lite Proficiency in Firewall configuration and rule creation Proficiency in VoIP technologies Ability to create migration plans with minimal disruption to existing network Solid written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills Experience: Experienced IT professional with 3+ years overall experience and minimum of 3 years as a Network Engineer. Experience in the design and delivery of customer-facing presentations (2 years minimum) Experience configuring and/or administering firewalls (Palo Alto preferred) (2 years minimum) Experience with Cisco Data Center Technologies including: N7K, N9K, and N2k (1 year minimum) Experience interpreting and implementing Network designs in both Greenfield and Brownfield deployments.
Bachelor's degree in a related field, 6 - 9 years
Certifications & Licenses:
CCNP
Proficiency in Firewall configuration and rule creation
Proficiency in MLPS, MPLS VPN, WLAN, and VRF-Lite
