Product Line Manager
FNC is seeking a Product Manager for Network Modernization Services within the electrical utilities industry. This position will lead efforts to define and drive Network Modification services & solutions for electrical utility customers. This person will be responsible for developing and executing strategies and programs to penetrate markets and achieve objectives and revenue targets.
Responsibilities include

  • Develop the strategic framework for Network Modernization Services for the electrical utilities industry
  • Develop solutions and deliverables based on framework, including presentations, quote, pricing and assumptions
  • Build and utilize relationships in key areas internally and externally
  • Oversee the quality and timely delivery of all opportunity documentation and deliverables, including solution, quote, pricing, assumptions, etc....
  • Establish and nurture client relationships, interfacing directly with customer executives, customer organizations such as engineering, architecture, facilities and procurement
  • Contribute to the development and furthering of Fujitsu service delivery and methodologies and overall consulting infrastructure for the electrical utilities market(s)
  • Understand the market and actively keep informed of industry news
  • Ensure strong relationships are managed with vendors and other consulting groups to ensure we are leading the industry in our efforts and delivery skills
  • Attend and speak at forums and webinars when appropriate
  • Create tools necessary to manage the business when necessary
  • Provide thought leadership for the development of engineering tools to implement solutions
  • Work closely with the NetMod team to standardize offerings

People
  • Ambassador for culture - presentation, commitment, integrity

Internal Culture and Administration
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Executives and other key executives, Industry Services in the pursuit of new customers and the up-selling of existing customers through the creation of SOWs, practice deliverables, and outcome selling
  • Leading training sessions, writing blogs and creation of new vehicles for communication.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following qualification and experience:
  • Strong and persuasive written and verbal communication skills, comfortable selling his/her ideas to client's and internal teams
  • Demonstrate passion and ownership to turn a big idea into a plan of action to ensure practice growth
  • Consulting or other experience in the electrical utility Industry
  • Proven initiative to be hands on as well as lead others in the development of the practice and delivery of its services
  • Demonstrate strength in the following areas:
    • Change Management and Business Transformation
    • Business delivery development
    • Facilitating presentations to C Suite and Executives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel based on client needs, business meetings and other ad hoc needs
  • Knowledge on several generations of transport equipment: ex. M13, DCS, ADM, MSS, WDM, DWDM etc.
  • Expertise with facility types such as DS0, DS1, DS3, STS1, OC-XX
  • Previous experience developing complex quotes.
  • Previous experience engineering live-traffic migration projects and knowledge of traffic remapping processes: ex. high speed wraps, hot cuts, etc...
  • System familiarity with equipment vendors: ex. Fujitsu, ALU, Cisco, Nortel, Tellabs, Nokia, CIena, Juniper, etc.
