.Net Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced .NET Full Stack Developer to join our growing team and play a key role in building the future of education. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of our web-based SaaS platform from conception and design to implementation and maintenance. You'll have the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects that directly contribute to our mission of improving education.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the latest .NET technologies (e.g., ASP.NET MVC, Core, Razor Pages, Web API)
• Implement responsive user interfaces and user experiences for various devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure smooth and consistent development.
• Engage with other developers, architects, quality engineers on the internal iCEV development team as well as external service providers to build and improve quality solutions.
• Share tech and business expertise with other team members, help to onboard additional team members.
• Write clean and well-structured code following best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data integration.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and stability.
• Participate in code reviews to provide feedback and improve the overall quality of the codebase.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues reported by end-users.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve technical skills.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• 4+ years of proven experience as a .NET Full Stack Developer creating and delivering commercial web application products.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET, SQL
• Demonstrated use of front-end web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, MDB Bootstrap, React.
• Experience with coding patterns and frameworks such as MVC, Single Page Application, Entity Framework, microservices, and Docker. Development using RESTful APIs and API design principles.
• Demonstrated development for security, accessibility, performance, scalability and maintenance.
• Proficient with SQL Server, Azure SQL and database design principles.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Azure DevOps, Azure Boards, GitHub.
• Work in an agile development environment.
• Experience with building subscription-based software as a service solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Prior experience in the education sector or EdTech industry is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
