Skills | Must-Haves:
* 3+ years of professional experience
* 3+ years of experience coding in WPF and XAML
* perfect English communication skills
Additional Skills:
* 3+ years of experience developing in C#, .NET
* graphics experience within animation and video
* experience in gaming or interactive heavy graphics Kiosks
* Bachelor's Degree
Company | Job Insight:
* replacing a current contractor that CultureFit placed
* current contractor is just not getting his work done; AMI thinks he is working another job on top of the AMI job
- 6+ month contract with probable extension; more than likely will be at least a year if not longer on contract
- role reports to Dan Garrett, CTO
- candidates can be remote, but need to be comfortable traveling to Chicago for the kick-off of the project and then maybe at least a few additional times over the length of the project
- AMI is converting their software to be Platform based currently where they can host Apps on the platform
- the Platform is being converted Internally but they need some Staff Augmentation help with the first application
- the application is a Trivia Application with over 26 skins that sits on a media device in each location and is built in Unity on a Linux platform
- they want to Migrate from Unity to a WPF/Windows 10 platform using WPF, XAML, and C#
- this person will be interacting with the development management team to map out and start converting and building this application
- application is a very interactive Kiosk application and is graphics heavy with Animation and Video
- candidate is more than likely going to have gaming industry experience
- once this contractor gets started on the project, AMI is going to look to bring on a 2nd contractor right after the first of the year
