About The Role
We are seeking a .NET Software Developer/Engineer to join our fast-growing IT-project based consulting business, specifically supporting our work with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
We need a team member who is ready to design, build, and implement innovative solutions to support the missions of our customers. We have several large projects that are just getting started and we need some smart team members to help us deliver! The successful candidate will be an inquisitive problem solver with the ability to quickly analyze the needs for specific projects and implement effective solutions with minimal direction. All projects require our team members to identify challenges and offer creative solutions!
For this fully remote role, we're looking for team members who bring at least 5 years of practical/on the job experience with developing, deploying, and maintaining .NET applications. Qualified candidates must have full stack development experience, including front end, middle tier and database programming skills and must be able to communicate and collaborate with a team of highly talented technicians as well as the client.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our .NET Developer will work within an Agile environment and collaborate with other developers, product owners, test engineers, and architects to:
- Analyze customer needs and develop overall design concept and objectives with an eye to performance, architecture, and security.
- Create logical and functional software code in a variety of languages within the .NET framework.
- Understand and articulate the benefits and risks associated with different coding languages in different functional environments
- Create applications from scratch as well as understand and program within existing systems.
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five (5) years of on the job experience with .NET Framework, including experience with ASP.NET Core Version 6
- Minimum of five (5) years of on the job experience with T-SQL
- Minimum of five (5) years of on the job experience with C#.NET
- Minimum of five (5) years of on the job experience with Javascript, Angular, and/or React
- Minimum of one (1) year of Federal IT experience, preferably with Healthcare IT
- On the job experience with Azure Cloud Portal
- On the job experience with GitHub, SQL Management Studio, and Visual Studio
- Ability to troubleshoot .NET applications
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Demonstrated experience with client Interaction
- Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
- Candidates will need to obtain Security Clearance of Public Trust once hired
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Five (5) years of on the job experience with maintaining and/or building APIs
- On the job experience with Angular 8+
- On the job experience with Bootstrap
- Familiarity with creating software in Azure and/or AWS
- Familiarity with native mobile app development is a plus
- Working knowledge of data mapping, extraction, data migration, decision support systems, data marts/data warehousing and relational and dimensional modeling.
- Familiarity with security protocols for Web development (OAUTH, TLS) configuration.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or related fields.
