Job Title: .Net Developer with Azure

Location: Chevy Chase, Maryland/Remote

Advantage Pro LLC is looking for a .Net Developer – Azure for one of the biggest Insurance Clients in the industry. As an Application Engineer, you will use your technical skills and creative abilities to collaboratively define current and target state domain architectures, drive strategic initiatives, and define our API, data, and enterprise platform strategies. You will directly assist engineering teams as you work to build architectural awareness, increase technical knowledge, and drive the adoption of modern technologies and architectural patterns.

Qualifications

Candidate should demonstrate experience in the development of web-based applications:

• 7+ years of demonstrated experience building enterprise-level web application design, implementation, maintenance, diagnosing/correcting issues, managing security vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance with industry security standards under minimal direction.
• You have knowledge of Azure Cloud resources & tools and Microservices with demonstrable proficiency in how cloud service offerings support solutions for multiple architecture disciplines or focus areas.
• Strong ASP.NET Core, C#, MVC 5+ / HTML / Web restful APIs, JSON, UI/UX - AngularJS, ReactJS, JQuery, CSS language skills, and Databases.
• Experienced in Responsive and Adaptive website design.
• Experience using source code control systems, such as GIT, Bitbucket, Sharpoint, and CI/CD.
• Experience in Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies is preferred and Flexible to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, yet function as an integral part of a team. Must possess a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and initiative.
• Experience in Azure Network (subscription, security zoning, etc.) In-depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in security protocols and products: Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
• Experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, assessment, and proposals)
• Experience building products of micro-services-oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs
• Utilize programming languages like Python, C# or other object-oriented languages, SQL, and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions that are efficient, scalable, and maintainable
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of project tasks and schedules
• Accurately estimate the time and resources required to complete development work and tasks.
• Assist in providing programming estimates identifying potential problems and recommending alternative solutions
• Work in close cooperation with functional team members to form a team effort in the development
• Coordinate configuration of back-end components in support of application development
• Perform analysis and debugging
• Provide direction/share knowledge with team members in areas of expertise
• Strives to continuously learn, including from team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
