Job Title: NCQA Consultant (National Committee for Quality Assurance)
Location: Remote
Contract Type: Long-term, variable hours
We are seeking an experienced NCQA Surveyor to join our team as a consultant. As a National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) consultant, you will play a crucial role in assessing and assisting healthcare organizations across various sectors become accredited or maintain accreditation. Your responsibilities will include evaluating compliance with NCQA standards, providing feedback to organizations, and assisting in the accreditation process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote Readiness Assessments of healthcare organizations according to NCQA standards and guidelines.
- Evaluate documentation, policies, and procedures to determine compliance with NCQA requirements.
- Provide detailed feedback and recommendations to organizations to support continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure understanding and implementation of NCQA standards.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NCQA standards, policies, and procedures and implementation of "best in practice".
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and expertise.
Requirements:
- Current NCQA Surveyor certification (or applicable designation).
- Extensive experience in healthcare quality improvement and accreditation.
- Strong understanding of NCQA standards and guidelines across multiple NCQA programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Attention to detail and ability to provide thorough and accurate assessments.
- Flexibility to work variable hours based on availability and survey workload.
PREFERRED: individuals with current experience in the new Health Equity accreditation preferred.
This is a contract position with the opportunity for long-term engagement. Hours may vary depending on the availability of the surveyor and the volume of survey assignments.
