Driver - Smart Container Storage

As a container distribution truck driver, you will play a critical role in the timely and secure delivery of products to our customers. You will be responsible for transporting containers while adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining the integrity of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Transportation:
  • Operate trucks for the transportation of containers to customer locations.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Loading and Unloading:
  • Ensure that the product is properly secure for travel
• Route Planning:
  • Plan efficient routes to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
  • Utilize GPS systems and other navigation tools.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
  • Report any mechanical issues promptly and ensure timely maintenance.
• Customer Interaction:
  • Interact with customers professionally during delivery and pickup.
  • Obtain necessary signatures and complete delivery documentation.
• Time Management:
  • Maintain delivery schedules and timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with office/dispatch for any route adjustments.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Follow safety protocols for the handling/carrying containers
  • Participate in safety training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in flatbed transportation.
• Knowledge of container loading/unloading procedures.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
