Job Description
Job Duties:
Leads and directs those staff performing the functions of Financial Counseling and Patient Collections.
Mentors and develops staff to ensure and environment of continuous improvement for highly effective and efficient revenue cycle operations.
Supports the hiring and selection process to ensure staff are fully qualified to fulfill the obligations and responsibilities of their assigned roles.
Ensures leaders and staff are trained and fully functional in assigned roles and supports leads in their responsibilities to manage staff performance to established metrics.
Assists in developing and implementing new procedures to improve the quality and quantity of work processed.
Maintains appropriate internal controls over systems, processes, and people to safeguard the assets of the organization.
Oversees and enhances the development of data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Maintains collaborative relationships with executives, peers, and outside parties as needed to support teamwork, employee engagement, and patient satisfaction.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years Patient Financial Navigator experience
- Minimum of 1 year management experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
