As part of our team, you will get to work with industry subject matter experts and government experts onboard ships in varying stages of maintenance to identify and predict issues before they occur. You will translate that knowledge into preventative maintenance plans, help increase shipboard repair experience, and ensure the reliability of complex Navy shipboard machinery.
We are currently seeking a candidate who has the necessary Combat Systems knowledge and experience to team with Ship’s Force to use maintenance surveillance tools and processes to identify unanticipated maintenance, equipment layup and startup issues during all phases of a ship undergoing a major availability. The candidate must have experience in execution of Combat Systems planned maintenance and knowledge of modernization processes. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have experience and working knowledge of Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Intelligence (C4I), Cyber Security, Navigation Systems, Radio Communications Systems (RCS), CVN radar systems, exterior and interior communications equipment, technical documentation and shipboard system drawings.
Employees will be required to provide proof of U.S. citizenship and demonstrate the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. security clearance.
Salary will depend on candidate’s assigned position, skills, and experience, between $28 to $55 per hour.
