As a dedicated salon specializing in Natural Hairstyles, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and empowering environment for both our team and clients. We are currently seeking someone willing to learn our team culture and to be willing to grow beyond where they currently are. This job opening is for anyone who has been in the industry for at least two years and is seeking change or growth. All new team members must complete a 3-month probationary period; at the completion of the probationary period, the selected stylist will be paid a $350.00 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications:

• Must have 2 years of salon experience.
• Must know how to proficiently perform at least 1 high-ticket style (i.e. micro locs, loc extensions, knotless braids, etc.)
• Must be available to work 2 out of the 3 weekend days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
• Must be able to work on a team: Without TEAMWORK, this team doesn't work!
• Willing to seek growth: to supplement existing knowledge with additional knowledge of Natural Hair care.
• Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, G-Suite, Zoom, and other technology.
• Must be punctual, have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, able to embrace challenges and seeking a career in the hair industry.
• Must have rapid, clear, effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Offer multiple textured extension service (such as marley twists or knotless braids) at expert level

This position is for anyone who has been in the textured hair industry and is looking for stability and an encouraging team environment. Our marketing team focuses on bringing you clients, our client concierge handles all your clients on-boarding and our stylists get to focus on styling. We also hold in-house classes.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 26 per week
