About the Job:
The Duck Company is seeking an experienced National Partnership Manager who will help drive strategic revenue growth in our national sales channel.
This position is responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with the company’s highest profile accounts, including multidoor specialty retailers, hotel, airport, national park concessionaires, entertainment brands, and regional/national retailers.  This individual will have accountability for over $4 million in revenue and is explicitly tasked with creating pathways to monetize existing and future partnerships to help achieve the company’s growth goals.
They will do this by identifying opportunities with new and existing customers, uncovering what is needed to be able to capitalize on them, and collaborating within the business to develop solutions, programs, and approaches that create value for the customer and the brand.
To achieve success in this role, you will:
  • Engage in outreach to create new connections and identify new market opportunities.
  • Prospect markets & customers and develop sales strategies to realize their potential.
  • Lead discovery efforts with customers to uncover meaningful opportunities for the business.
  • Nurture existing customer relationships to maximize revenue potential for each account.
  • Capture and communicate customer needs to empower the organization to deliver.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop customer specific programs and solutions.
  • Drive follow up activity to maximize initial placement and sell through value.
  • Travel 25-50% of the time to leverage in person presence with customers and prospects.

What you bring:
  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience, with 3+ years selling to national or multi-door retailers.
  • 2+ years in the destination and/or graphic imprinted apparel industry strongly preferred.
  • Existing relationships with relevant customers.
  • Experience delivering customized, and unique customer solutions, using varied approaches.
  • A refined sales skillset, that delivers results from prospecting to discovery to close.
  • Exceptional and transparent communication with both customers and the organization.
  • The ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders, yielding mutually beneficial results.
  • A comfort with ambiguity and navigating situations where the outcome is uncertain.
  • The capacity to manage competing priorities, while never missing a key opportunity.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Software
  • Excellent negotiation skills including a disciplined preparation process.

Salary:
  • Earning potential of $130,000+
  • Base Salary of $80,000 - $100,000 dependent upon non-discriminatory factors such as experience. 
  • Large commission opportunity, no cap!
    • Start with established current accounts.
    • Commission paid on each written sale. 
    • Monthly and quarterly bonus commission potential. 
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.

Mental/Physical Requirements: While in the office this position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
