Redfin is looking for an executive to build our value-centered luxury brand, Redfin Premier. With less than 1% of market share in the high-end market, but a much higher percentage of the high-end online demand, you have an incredible opportunity to develop this segment for a national technology-powered real estate brokerage. Taking market share in the high-end will generate significant profits for the company, income for our agents, and create a halo effect around the Redfin brand.
Since 2020, we’ve offered Redfin Premier service to listing clients selling homes, which has accelerated our market share growth for that client segment. Over the last 12 months we’ve tested a new approach to our luxury experience for customers beginning their luxury real estate experience as buyers. And notably, in the last 5 months we’ve debuted a new agent compensation plan that’s attracting some of the best agents in the industry. It’s time to pull all of these pieces together, level them up and urgently pursue this segment of the market. You will play a role in driving the vision for the future of where we’re going as a brokerage.
The Opportunity: Building a Value-Centered Luxury Brand
You will focus on developing a compelling and scalable customer experience to exceed the unique expectations of Redfin luxury customers. You’ll create brand and service standards, drive flawless sales execution, engage with our luxury agents, recruit luxury agents, and create programs to best capture a larger share of clients buying and selling high-end homes.
The first order of business is developing cohesive service standards for our Premier segment, regardless of the side of the business, buy or sell. Second order of business is creating criteria and performance standards determining which agents should service our luxury segment of customers. This includes existing Redfin agents and recruiting external talent. Third is partnering with sales leaders to drive execution across our most important Premier markets. Finally, this leader will partner with our HQ functions, product, marketing, program, etc. on developing our premier brand online and offline; Maintaining a winning go-to-market strategy will be key to our success.
Captain of the Ship
The role reports to the senior vice president of real estate operations and should be located in a major U.S. market, preferably in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Austin or the DC Metro Area. Candidates for this role should expect to travel 30-35% of the time to work with other Redfin executives and visit customers and agents in the field. In partnership with senior leadership, you’ll be responsible for market share growth in our Premier segment with a deeper focus on our top 12-15 markets. You will lead a small team to start with the opportunity to grow your team as Premier grows.

Unifier: You have 7+ years experience building and leading successful organizations or brands. You’re someone whom talented leaders want to work with. You understand that in any business, the people serving the customer have to feel served by their leaders. We can’t make our customers happy without happy employees.
Entrepreneurial: We’re looking for a builder, not someone to mind the store. You’ll need to develop our services for high-end buyers, evolve our service for high-end sellers.
Influential: You have experience collaborating across organizations, levels and geography resulting in strong business results. You are also someone that thrives in front of audiences, can captivate candidates and enjoy public relations.
Crisp Communicator: Redfin prizes clear, plain-spoken communication in every forum. The best answers start with, “yes,” “no,” a number, or “I don’t know.” We avoid jargon and cliches and it’s important that you can communicate effectively in-person, in slides, and in writing. Clear communication is a product of clear thought.

The compensation information is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in Hawaii, Colorado, New York, New Jersey, Washington, and California.
Base Pay Range: $155,800.00 - 233,100.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Compensation will also include bonuses and equity, as well as the potential for future merit increases and stock grants based on performance. Potential for uncapped bonuses based on individual productivity goals. Potential for merit increases and stock grants based on performance.
