Music Therapist at Providence Milwaukie Hospital (Part-Time, 24 hours a week)
This role works with senior psychiatric patients on a behavioral health unit.
The Music Therapist coordinates and provides clinical programs and services to patients with a wide variety of diagnoses in the acute Sr. Psychiatric unit. Develops programs to promote and contribute to the rehabilitation effort and to provide the patient and family/caregivers with the skills and resources for successful coping and reintegration after discharge.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, or related field; from accredited college/university.
- Upon hire: Current certification with the American Music Therapy Association, or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Upon hire: Board certified as a Music Therapist
- Upon hire: Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
