Music Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments to gather information about clients' backgrounds, concerns, and goals
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
- Provide therapy services to individuals, families, and groups
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to address clients' mental health concerns
- Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay current with best practices in the field of therapy through ongoing professional development

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field
- Valid state licensure as a Therapist
- Proven experience in behavior management, case management, child family counseling, crisis management, individual/group counseling, and special education
- Knowledge of dementia care and behavioral residents is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.00 per week
