Job Summary

The Music Business Development Intern will support the Business Development Team on streaming music initiatives and other projects as needed including pitching and editorial support tracking, monitoring spikes on catalog, and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Support with daily operational tasks including DSP (Digital Service Provider) grids, pitching and editorial support tracking
• Assist with monitoring spikes on catalog due to trends, syncs, or other activations
• Assist with distributing agendas, call notes/meeting minutes, and maintaining pace on action items and follow-ups
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to music distribution and DSPs
• Assist with workflow optimization and cross-collaboration methods between various teams

Qualifications 

• Must be based in Los Angeles
• Must be enrolled in a 4 year university during internship
• Strong knowledge of digital music platforms, delivery systems and music culture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and analyze large amounts of data efficiently
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work with employees of all levels
• Previous experience in music industry preferred
