Job Summary:

As a member of OSU Agriculture's Office of Communications and Marketing, this individual serves as the Multimedia Producer and editor for the half-hour broadcast production SUNUP, as well as a member of the department's video team producing other media products on behalf of OSU Agriculture for broadcast and digital delivery platforms. In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate must be detail-oriented, adaptable, adept at multi-tasking and a self-starter. Experienced in videography and editing, with working knowledge of Adobe Premiere or Apple Final Cut Pro software. The individual must be able to work as part of a team under strict deadlines while maintaining flexibility in ever-changing situations. Requires some travel; travel budget provided.
This highly-visible position requires interacting with colleagues, clients and stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization. The duty reporting station is on the OSU campus in Stillwater.
The Office of Communications and Marketing is a team of experienced professionals committed to elevating agricultural sciences and natural resources programs and services at OSU. We deliver all aspects of integrated communications and marketing: digital, web and social media, branding and campaigns, television shows and educational videos, news and feature stories, photography, graphic design and publications. Education & Experience

Position Qualifications:

Required: HS diploma/GED with five years of experience required in broadcasting, television production, video production, communications, or related field. Internships and college experience accepted.

Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation for travel connected with official duties. Reimbursement for official travel. Some travel is required, including overnight stays.

Proficient in multimedia production, which includes videography, writing, producing, editing, graphic design and team collaboration. Strong creative and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in the university setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under deadline, both within a strategic communications team and independently. This is a highly visible, public-facing position.

Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Duty reporting is in-person on the OSU campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, television production, strategic communications, journalism, agricultural communications or related fields with 6 months of experience required in broadcasting, television production, video production, communications, or related field. Internships and college experience accepted.
