The Retail Maintenance Supervisor will work closely with coordinators to schedule work orders and support the technicians in the field. This individual will schedule and monitor the work of our in-house technicians on jobs daily. The mechanical aptitude to understand and guide work performed across several trades such as plumbing, electrical, and remodeling is essential. The Retail Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate projects, emergencies, and overflow of reactive maintenance as needed. This individual will work closely with our Vice president, as well as subcontractors and technicians on jobs, daily.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains field technicians.
- Assists coordinators in the procurement of the correct materials needed for jobs.
- Schedule labor within client’s time frame.
- Oversee technicians in the field, ensuring photos and notes are inputted into multiple systems.
- Technical support for Technicians in the field.
- Responsible for communicating updates in a timely manner to the Vice President.
- Maintained inventory in the Technicians vans.
- Safety discussions with Technicians.
- Weekly meetings on job flow with Account Managers.

Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in commercial maintenance or construction.
- Proven experience in a hands on/mechanical setting.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical, structural, plumbing, and electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot.
- Must be familiar with a wide variety of hand/power tools and be able to adapt to the use of new tools quickly.
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
- Must be available to work a demanding schedule including long hours, occasional overnight work, and rotating weekends on-call.
- Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
- Must have a reliable smartphone and be proficient with the usage of various applications.
- High School diploma/GED or trade school equivalent.
- The position requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
