Job description

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled orchestrator to tame the chaos and bring harmony to our diverse apartment portfolio.

Our fast-growing real-estate development & property management company is looking for an experienced Multi-Family Property Manager to take over the primary management of our portfolio of several hundred apartment units. This position is broad and demanding. This role will work in person from one of our Tacoma-area offices, and from there will manage our portfolio which is spread across eight Tacoma-area properties. We’ve doubled in size within the last two years and expect to double again in the same amount of time!

This role will be responsible for creating and implementing the systems that are needed to operate at our current level and facilitate our growth. The successful candidate will have a track record of success in positions with similar responsibility, have a passion for getting work done, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with lots of concurrent tasks, have a love of learning and self-improvement, and genuinely care about people. Critical Success Factors

  • Sustained Low Vacancy Across Portfolio
  • Timely Reports Tracking Industry-Standard KPIs
  • Improved Rent Collection, Lease Renewals, and Lease Compliance
  • Improved Customer Service and Maintenance Coordination evidenced by lower turnover and improved customer satisfaction

Compensation:

$65,000 - $80,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Manage / Primary Ownership of:

  • Rent Collection
  • Leasing Process & Lease Renewals
  • Property Accounting
  • Property Reporting
  • Maintenance Coordination
  • Day-to-day management decisions

Support / Assist With:

  • Leasing Activities
  • Customer Service
  • Capital Improvements
  • Strategic Management Decisions

Qualifications:

  • Flexibility in schedule to include weekends and evenings as needed
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work on a computer, using Microsoft Office and other property management programs
  • Property-Level Financial Reporting Experience
  • Investor Relations Experience Preferred
  • 3 Year Multi-Family Property Management Experience
