Experienced Apartment Property Manager

ICON Real Estate Services, Inc. is a locally owned property management firm serving the greater Puget Sound Region since 2016. We are a team of seasoned professionals who work collaboratively to serve our clients’ and residents’ needs. We are looking for qualified property management and maintenance professionals to join our team as we continually grow and expand. We are currently seeking an experienced full time Property Manager for two properties in Thurston County, one being a brand new 60 unit build in Yelm, and the other a 26 unit complex in Lacey . This position will be full time. Our company offers excellent benefits, training and paid time off.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage venders and vender relationships
Staff Supervision - Maintenance technicians
Marketing and leasing apartments
Accounts payable and receivable
Lease renewals and resident retention
Rent collection and delinquency management
Prepare legal notices
Weekly management reports
Create and maintain accurate resident files, move out files, AP files etc.

Other Duties Include:

• Meet, greet potential residents and show them model and make ready units
• Maintain the utmost professionalism with all venders, residents, guests and coworkers
• Complete and maintain traffic guest cards
• Process rental applications and lease documents
• Update marketing ads online regularly
• Walk vacant units to verify they are rent ready, coordinate maintenance for apartment turns
• Prepare correspondences and notices as assigned by Portfolio Manager
• Collect/process rent payments and record resident Maintenance Service Requests

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years residential apartment management experience

Other requirements:

• Professional in appearance and attitude
• Must have valid Driver's License/reliable transportation
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to analyze and solve problems
• Ability to deal with/handle potential confrontational situations

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
