An API Developer will focus on developing flexible parameter-driven services using MuleSoft for Client MDM (Master Data Management) data integration services.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Design and Development:
- Assist the client development team in designing robust, scalable, and secure APIs using MuleSoft.
- Develop parameter-driven services to ensure flexibility and configurability.
- Implement MDM strategies for client data integration, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Integration:
- Assist in the integration of disparate systems and data sources using MuleSoft.
- Help the client development team create and maintain efficient data pipelines for MDM.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in MuleSoft and/or API development.
- Extensive experience in API development, preferably with MuleSoft.
- Agile development methodology.
- Proficiency in MuleSoft for API development.
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and practices.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API principles.
- Familiarity with database technologies and SQL.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional remote office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Physical Demands
This position requires the frequent and repetitive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Hand and finger dexterity is required.
