The Role

Reporting to Vice President of Technology and based in our Chandler, Arizona headquarters, the MTS (Product Test Engineer) will be responsible for the development of next generation of STT_MRAM non-volatile memory products.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Develop ATE test program to support product debug, validation, and characterization for MRAM memory products.
• Define, document, and execute complex test protocols working closely with design, process, system, and Test Engineering teams for NPI.
• Troubleshoot a wide range of complex problems to support device optimization, yield improvement and cost reduction activities across all products.
• Support new technology bring up and product qualification.
• Analyze process, device, test, and characterization data to draw data driven conclusions.
• Ability to work with and manage outside vendors for test hardware developments (load board, probe cards, cable assembly, etc.)

Qualifications & competencies

• BS or MS + 4year experience in Product and Test Engineering for Memory products is required.
• Solid background in standalone memory IC testing of volatile and non-volatile memory; familiar with parametric testing and reporting.
• A Strong Knowledge on memory (DRAM /MRAM/ Flash/Emerging Memory) Test Methodologies, and basic understanding of DFT, DFM, and MBIST requirements.
• Basic understanding of CMOS circuits and process.
• Experience with Advantest(ATE) memory test platforms(HSM/5593/93K/Magnum) for both single and multisite package test and wafer sort.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools like JMP and Yield Improvement techniques
• Strong programming/scripting skills(PERL, Python, C++) desired.
• Working knowledge of electrical failure analysis and reliability testing
• Good multitasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in teams.
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
