Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include the following (other duties may be assigned as required by management):
- Quoting Process:
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather information and specifications required for generating accurate MRO service quotes.
- Prepare detailed and competitive quotes promptly, ensuring they align with client needs and company profitability goals.
- Maintain records of all quotes, including cost breakdowns, pricing strategies, and client communication.
- Scheduling Coordination:
- Work closely with the operations team to maintain a master schedule for MRO projects, taking into account available resources, lead times, and project priorities.
- Ensure that project timelines are aligned with client expectations and contractual agreements.
- Client Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding quoting and planning matters, addressing inquiries, providing updates about the status of their quotes, schedule changes, and managing client expectations.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve quoting/planning processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
- Identify bottlenecks or challenges and implement solutions to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive operational excellence.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all quoting and scheduling activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to quotes and schedules.
- Ensuring safety and quality concerning ACI Jet's FAR 145 maintenance operation by participating in ACI Jet's SQMS program and promoting a safety and quality-oriented culture within the organization.
- The MRO Quoting & Planning representative may delegate all, or a portion, of these duties to another employee but shall still retain ultimate responsibility for their completion.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required
- A passion for aviation.
- Thoroughly familiar with the applicable regulations, Operations Specifications, company manuals, revision procedures, and the forms used by this repair station for ensuring work is performed properly.
- 5+ years of experience quoting business aviation projects.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office/Google applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to read, and write, all aspects at an advanced level.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for technical documentation and support.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Critical time management and logistical problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality of work.
- On-call and after-hours support is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance.
- Must be computer proficient (MS Office, Google Suite, Aviation Maintenance Software).
- Must work with ACI Jet to ensure eligibility to work in the United States.
Highly Desirable
- Formal Cessna and/or Bombardier factory training.
