Form of workPOSITION: Xray Technologist/MR
RESPONSIBLE TO: Office Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Conduct secondary clearance of patients, verifies physician order and accurately performs MR imaging following established protocols.
Conducts daily phantoms/QA measures related to MR.
Verifies physician order, correct patient and accurately performs xrays for physicians/Pas
Assist clinical staff with clinical duties (ie rooming patients, updating clinical records in
EMR, meds, etc.)
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Attend monthly xray/clinical meetings.
Provide input to Office Coordinator for staff meetings, QA, patient care and etc.
Maintains cleaning of MR room and surrounding MR area designated as off limits for housekeeping staff.
Supervision and training of Zane State students in the Radiology program.
Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Current, active RT licensure in the State of Ohio.
Current training and documented experience in the field of MRI as indicated by IAC accreditation.
Current CPR certification
Attention to detail for accuracy.
Excellent computer skills
Flexibility to adapt to different approaches to similar tasks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Long periods of standing and walking briskly.
Full body range of motion including standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing
stairs, frequent changes in position, lifting/carrying items weighing up to 50#’s.
Ability to lift and transfer patients.
Ability to work under stress.
Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively.
