Form of workThe Radiologic Technologists performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs general radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable procedures as assigned. Performs procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiogrpahic diagnosis. Provides appropriate age specific patient care to the following patient populations: neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Qualifications:
A. Education
1. Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
B. Experience
1. One year of experience in ultrasound preferred
C. Licensure/Certification
1. Current ARRT registry

Floyd Medical Center is also home to a state-designated Level II Trauma Center, a behavioral health center, specialty centers for pediatrics, wound care, and hyperbaric therapy. It houses primary care and urgent care networks of providers and hosts a realm of outpatient services, including the operation of the Floyd County Clinic and an associated pharmacy for uninsured patients.
