We show compassion, celebrate differences and treat one another with respect.Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures on appropriate anatomical regions in accordance with acceptedstandards of practice and protocols of ETMC Complete and sign Patient Screening for and explain the procedure to the patients Maintain patient care, comfort and safety during transport to and from the imaging table Administer contrast agents through continued education Cooperate with facility healthcare personnel and compile with facility policies andprocedures Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems. Call for service and notify allpatients team members as necessary Maintain a clean environment inside and outside of the MRI scan room Complete necessary administrative tasks as necessary Follow quality assurance guidelinesQualificationsEducation: High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an AMA school of radiologic technology. Completion of a certified college MRI training program preferredExperience: 2 to 3 years as a diagnostic technologist Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment and perform all MRI as normally required inthese areas Basic computer skills required Strong verbal and written communication skills Active listening skills Good problem solving skills Strong time management skills Ability to think strategically and act tactically Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time Ability to embrace the client relationship to guide decisions and actions Demonstrates good team workCertification and Licensure: Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire Achieve ARRT registry in MRI within 18 months of hireCompliance Requirements Comply with regulatory requirements, guidelines, and policiesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to function in a high magnetic field area with no physical effects Ability to lift 60 or more pounds Ability to lift, push and/or pull heavy objects and to constantly walk, stand, bend, reach forand/or stoop. Ability to see and hear to normal range with correction. Ability to move throughout the workplaceENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Exposure to infectious disease on a constant basis.
