Mri Technologist

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for MRI Technologists.
Position Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job/ Shift Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:15am-5:45pm
As an MRI tech you will:

• Perform MR operations under the guidance of the Administrator.
• Coordinates patient flow and scheduling
• Uses EHR systems for patient care and imaging
• Greets patients, explains procedures to patients, and positions to obtain the required images
• Responsible for QA of images in accordance with guidelines, policies, and procedures
• Oversight and maintenance of MRI specific protocols and policies
• Reports all potential/current equipment malfunctions
• Responsible for maintaining accreditation in MR
• Serves as the liaison for the MR QA/ safety committee meetings and oversees MR safety guidelines.
• Performs MR scans to maintain proficiency
• Performs intravenous contrast injections on patients
• Oversight and implementation of MR research projects, and coordination of MRI related applications training

The ideal candidate will have:

• Current NYS license in Radiology, ARRT Board Certification for Magnetic Resonance Imaging, NYS Licensure or equivalent.
• Must have certification to perform contrast injections
• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of the MRI policies and procedures

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $29 - $31 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
