Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to capture diagnostic images of patients. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging will be essential in providing accurate and high-quality images for diagnostic evaluation. Duties:
- Perform diagnostic MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the scanning process
- Operate MRI scanners and adjust parameters to capture high-quality images
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze scan results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and aseptic techniques to prevent contamination
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR) preferred
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Experience in diagnostic evaluation using MRI technology
- Proficiency in operating MRI scanners and adjusting imaging parameters
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
