Overview
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking an MRI Imaging Assistant to support operations at the Oceanside VA Clinic located at 1300 Rancho Del Oro Dr, Oceanside, CA 92056. This is a full-time position being 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, with no weekends or holidays. The selected MRI Imaging Assistant will work in a mobile trailer setting with an MRI Technologist, with the majority of operations conducted in Oceanside, CA. Occasionally, the trailer may be temporarily relocated to the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, CA. This position will be in place for six months to one year, with likely extensions.

Responsibilities
- Assists the MRI Technologist with screening patients and setting up patients
- Changes MRI coils
- Sets up the exam room
- Gathers contrast and supplies needed for individual scans
- Answers phone calls
- Scans documents into PACS and/or Vista
- Retrieves patient information and medical history
- Documents information in electronic medical records
- Other duties to assist the MRI Technologist
Qualifications
- Level 2 MRI training is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- PACS experience
- MRI Imaging Assistant experience is preferred
Pay Range: $43.43 - $71.50 hourly
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
