RUN Studios and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are looking for aMotion Designer with Live Actionexperience to join the team for upcoming 2024 projects!
Are you a creative, visual storyteller with high-end digital skills and extraordinary attention to detail? Are you a self-starter with outstanding collaborative and communication skills who can also work independently from a team?
One of our client's teams seeks an exceptional Motion Designer passionate about creating innovative instructional, promotional, and original video content that enhances customer experience. You are organized, obsessed with details, deadline-driven, and possess first-class digital skills. You are responsible for managing the different stages of the creative process: conceptualization, storyboarding, and animating, and you have the essential ability to work out potential production roadblocks along the way.
This is a contract opportunity, and while this position is remote, you must reside in Washington, Oregon, California, or New York to be considered.

CompensationPay Range: $50-$58 (Hourly)
The successful candidate's starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

As a Motion Designer, You Will
- Collaborate with account managers, peers and leadership to deliver high-quality, scalable, on-brand graphic illustrations and motion design solutions to build a superior vendor and shopping customer experience.
- Produce video graphics, motion, templates, layouts, video edits, vendor proofs and visual standards for customer-facing physical assets.
- Provide and manage design, motion graphics and video editing documentation and specifications.
- Proactively manage time and deadlines.
- Report daily and weekly metrics on completed projects.
- Work closely with fellow international Designers to ensure high standards of graphic design, motion graphics, and video editing brand consistency and customer experience.
- Communicate design, motion graphics, and/or video editing rationale in a clear, respectful and, open, fluent manner with internal partners and advertisers' teams.
As an Applicant, You Bring
- Proficient with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other Adobe Creative programs.
- Minimum 3-5 years professional 2D motion graphics and animation experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in video editing in a deadline-driven media environments.
- Have a high degree of attention to detail, managing multiple video projects at once and receiving feedback from stakeholders.
- Delivering quality video content consistently while adhering to deadlines.
- Have a strong understanding of lighting, frame composition, and basic color theory.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly capture the attention of a large digital audience with short-form animated content.
- Be self-motivated, versatile, and highly organized, with acute attention to detail to deliver work at a consistently high standards.
- A collaborative colleague - hard-working, level-headed, creative, and kind.
