Mosquito Trap Collector - work outdoors on your own PART TIME

Clarke of Roselle, IL is seeking to hire a PART TIME (M,W,F mornings) Mosquito Trap Collectorwho will be responsible for retrieving and sorting insects collected in light traps within assigned territories. Population and species data from these collections will be used to predict mosquito activity and determine necessary treatments. No experience is necessary, all training will be provided. This position is perfect for someone who is passionate about sustainable living, loves working independently, enjoys outdoor activities, and has extraordinary communication skills. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY

• Starting at $16/hr
• Monday, Wednesday, & Friday; between 5:00am and 11:00am (end time depends on workload)
• Part-time seasonal position (generally May - September)
• Use of personal vehicle is required and a 0.67 cent mileage reimbursement will be provided

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LIGHT TRAP RUNNER

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
• Must own or have access to an insured and reliable vehicle
• Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
• Comfortable walking on uneven terrain
• Attention to minute detail to sort insect collections
• Ability to operate smartphones and apps
• Must be able to work through the end of our season (September/October)
