Mosquito Control Technician

We are currently interviewing FULL-TIME and PART-TIME LICENSED TECHNICIANS OR APPLICATOR candidates for our 2024 SEASONAL pesticide technician positions. Our season runs from early April through mid-October. IF YOU ARE NOT CURRENTLY LICENSED WE ARE NOT GOING TO CONSIDER THE APPLICATION.

Must be at least 21 years old with valid driver’s license and clean driving record, and able to carry a 45-50 lb backpack sprayer. Construction experience is a plus but not required. We do other work in the winter.

Responsibilities

• Arrives at the designated work site as scheduled, properly attired in approved Mosquito Shield clothing.
• Performs application following Mosquito Shield procedures.
• Must obtain pesticide applicator license.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• MUST pass background checks (DMV, drug/alcohol, criminal).
• MUST be able to speak with customers and a kind and respectful manner.

Qualifications

• Must - be able to lift 60 lbs. 35 times per day.
• Must - have a valid drivers license.
• Must - have clean driving record.
• Must - have technician or applicator license.
• Optional - construction experience with ladders.

Compensation:

* Potential to earn over $1000 a week

* Work Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays

* Tech work from early April through mid-October. Other work in Winter.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $800.00 - $1,000.00 per week

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
