IU Credit Union has an opportunity for a Mortgage Origination Manager
As the Mortgage Origination Manager you will actively manage Mortgage Origination activities in the Lending Center as you coach Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) to meet and exceed member needs through a consultative approach. You will work with team members, management and business partners to promote a service culture focused on prompt, accurate and effective response to member requests. You will ensure Mortgage Origination operates in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
LEADERSHIP:
- Lead team to originate quality mortgage loans while providing outstanding member service
- Identify and analyze lending market to develop prospects for residential real estate loans
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with realtors, builders and other referral sources
- Maintain thorough knowledge of secondary market and PMI requirements while proactively understanding real estate trends and competitor influences in local markets
- Ensure the staff's compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support IUCU initiatives and serve as a resource to the Lending Center, branch network and the organization
- Conduct individual coaching and regular staff meetings to develop an outstanding member experience as measured by Member Effort and Net Promoter Scores
INIDVIDUAL PRODUCTION:
- Originate high quality loans while providing an outstanding member experience.
- Meet or exceed individual production goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lead, mentor, motivate and coach individuals while promoting a team atmosphere, demonstrating ability to lead teams toward a common goal
- Demonstrate passion for delivering an outstanding member experience
- Demonstrate advanced product knowledge of mortgage programs and ability to recommend appropriate solutions for each member applicant
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, mathematical aptitude and keen attention to detail
- 5 years in supervisory or leadership position and 3 years mortgage experience
