Mortgage Loan Set Up Specialist

Program Set Up is responsible for pulling and analyzing the credit report, completing the 1003 and loan estimates. Also structuring the loan program to suit the borrower's needs. Work in a faced paced environment and apply knowledge of loan programs and guidelines to structure a loan that fits the borrower's goals

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access and Power point
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop working relations with business associates at a positive level
• Mathematical skills that of ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals 
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:

• High School diploma
• 1+ years mortgage industry experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer with multiple interruptions.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Frequently exposed to noise and a regular flow of people when in the office.
• Frequently assigned to changing priorities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge mortgage underwriting systems: AUS, DO, DU, GUS
• Ability to evaluate credit reports
• Be familiar with various Mortgage Loan products - CHFA, FNMA, FHLMC, Conventional, VA, USDA, Non-QM
• Analyzes and interprets financial data to fit established parameters set by industry
• Maintain a secure environment for loan process files
• Good moral ethics conduct
• Communicates any concerns on possible misrepresentation or fraudulent documentation/activity to Branch Manager and/or Processing Supervisor, if necessary
• Monitor and process files in copy file queue in a timely manner
• Ensure all copied files are assigned to the correct agent and processed correctly

Pay Rate: $19.25 Hourly with Bonus.
