SalaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant, you will be responsible for evaluating and securing Mortgage Loans for our clients. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional customer service while guiding borrowers through the mortgage process, from application to closing. This position requires strong sales and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough understanding of mortgage products and lending regulations.
Compensation:$40,000 - $55,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
- Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions
- Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
- Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
- Maintain an active rolling pipeline of funding per our guidelines
- Availability to work in the office with Real Estate Agents in Wesley Chapel, FL.
- Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required
- Several years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending required
- Current NMLS State License or Federal NMLS Registration
- Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
- Understanding of Loan Originator software such as Experian, LendingWise, or Calyx, and Office Suite highly preferred
