The Experienced Mortgage Loan Originator will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining the best mortgage options for their specific needs. This individual will work with a variety of lenders to secure financing for clients, and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to assess their mortgage needs and provide guidance on available options
- Work with a variety of lenders to secure financing for clients
- Keep up-to-date with changes in the mortgage industry and inform clients of new options
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and transactions
- Continuously build and maintain a network of referral partners
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, with a proven track record of sales success required
- Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry and various loan products
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with lending and mortgage regulations
- Strong network of referral partners
- Strong ability to self-manage and work independently
- Strong understanding of credit and underwriting
- Strong understanding of the market and the economy
- Strong ability to work under pressure
- Strong ability to close deals and overcome objections
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships

- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Active NMLS license for Florida or the ability to obtain upon hire (if you are resigning retail lenders such as a bank or credit union whose employees are federally registered with NMLS)
Compensation/Benefits:
- Excellent Commission Compensation Plan
- Pay cycles are semi-monthly
- Benefits package with employer match of 3 percent where employee is fully vested on day 1 their plan begins
