We are looking to hire an experienced café supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our & More By Sheraton café. The responsibilities include processing payments using the café's Point of Sale System, making bank deposits, and ensuring that the café is clean and well-presented at all times. Pay for this position includes an hourly rate plus tips.

To be successful you should demonstrate exemplary leadership skills and ensure that the café staff carries out all duties efficiently.

Hours: Open availability from 5:30AM-12:30AM (8 Hour shifts)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The supervisor will ensure all of the following of associates.

• Prepares and serves all food and beverage items to guest as directed by the &More By Sheraton standards.
• Complies with personal hygiene and food safety standards regarding food preparation and service.
• Maintains neat, clean and sanitized preparation and work areas.
• Keeps all serving areas clean and sanitized during the hours of operation.
• Keeps hot and cold foods at proper temperatures with regular monitoring.
• Restocks foods as needed and stores food properly at the end of the service time.
• Restocks and refills condiments and regularly cleans all bottles and service ware.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates product needs to manager.
• Follows all work safety guidelines and emergency procedures guidelines.
• Participants in the hotel’s preparation and readiness for official Sheraton Inspection and Public Health inspection.

Minimum Requirements:

• Highly engaging and vibrant energy with welcoming presence.
• Customer service experience with good communication skills.
• Proven management experience in the hospitality industry.
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Available for flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.

Working Conditions:

• Typically bends, stoops, moves, lifts, squats and stands during the shift to perform food service tasks.
• Must be able to prepare foods and beverages and serve customers for up to 4 hours at a time.
• Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to be able to prepare and serve guest in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires ability to lift and move 30 lbs. 3-4 times during the shift.
• Requires verbal fluency and good hearing function to communicate with other associates as well as guests.
