Job Summary
To recognize, report and manage EKG arrhythmia data to the nurse and patient medical record as assigned. May require access to storage areas where medications are kept and carry out procedures that require the use of non-prescription medications.
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $2000 for external candidates through June 1, 2023

Accountabilities
- Performs responsibilities accurately, timely, and safely for assigned patients/area.
- Communicates and informs appropriate personnel, patients and family members of pertinent information in a timely manner.
- Maintains accurate paper and electronic documentation.
- Utilizes equipment and supplies safely and appropriately; orders supplies as needed; labels specimens correctly.
- Accurately recognizes and reports arrhythmia and EKG related computer data according to Policies/Procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of a monitor tech (CCT) course from an accredited organization.
