Form of workThis position is responsible for the constant monitoring of the telemetry system on the Intermediate Care Units, Medical/Surgical remote telemetry, and who assumes responsibility for clerical and receptionist functions on the unit. The Monitor Technician accepts and maintains responsibility for the clerical and documentation duties related to telemetry monitoring, as well as, communicating monitored changes to the appropriate nursing unit and staff.
High School Diploma / GED required.
BLS current or within first 90 days of employment. Basic arrhythmia course current or successfully completed within orientation period.
