Position: Modeling, Simulation, and Wargaming Analyst (Entry-Level AFSIM)

Location: Northern Virginia/Washington, DC Metro, Maryland

Benefits: 100% company paid--see additional information below

Salary: $60,000 - $85,000

Overview: Group W is looking for extraordinary people who want to make a difference in solving challenging problems faced by the Department of Defense (DoD), by learning and using the AFSIM modeling framework.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to secure a Secret clearance
• The ability to apply critical thinking and formal analytical techniques to produce credible, difference-making analyses

Preferred:

• Bachelor's or Advanced degree in a STEM discipline (mathematics, physics, operations research, engineering, statistics, computer science, systems engineering, or other related areas)
• Knowledge, experience, or desire to learn the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM)
• Proficient in programming or scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Learn, build, and run AFSIM models and simulation techniques to assess a wide range of problems across the DoD
• Support operational planning teams using AFSIM to analyze theater operations
• Develop multi-domain operations scenarios in AFSIM
