LinQuest is seeking a Model BasedSystems Engineer Tools Developer Intern to join our team in our El Segundo, CA or Colorado Springs, CO office. This internship will span from June 1, 2023, through August 31, 2023, with the potential to go part time past this period.
This intern will learn to develop and use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools. This intern will also learn professional skills related to teamwork, coordination, and communication. They will expand their skills in relevant technologies and languages through personal research and share that knowledge with the MSEIT team.
Responsibilities:
- Support, develop, and document system capabilities in UML/SysML models.
- Elicit and capture stakeholder needs.
- Work collaboratively in a digital engineering environment to integrate data from across Systems Engineering disciplines into a cohesive model.
- Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and Systems Engineering documents.
- Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and Systems Engineering software.
Required Experience:
- You must be a college student in good standing, enrolled in a 4-year university in your Junior year
- Pursing a Bachelors degree in (Computer Science or Engineering)
- You must have a minimum college GPA requirement of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. If you are selected for an internship, you must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 after each completed semester/term
- Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance is required to be considered for this position
Compensation:
- Starting hourly pay for this position is $24 an hour
