Model Based Systems Design Engineer

Volt is immediately hiring a Model Based System Design Engineer
As a Model Based System Design Engineer you will:

• Support Digital Design implementation for JetZero
• Support generation of “Digital Environment and Data Management” plan for JetZero
• Develop Processes, Best Practices and Procedures for JetZero Model Based Design in compliance with ARP4754A
• Directly engage with SMEs to Establish Validation and Verification methods for the various aircraft systems
• Support digital thread from aircraft level requirements down to system detailed design
• Work with Digital Tool provider to improve/implement tool features and functions
• Support development of Systems Integration Lab via digital design

Design Engineering

• CAD Design of Aircraft systems and structures within SiemensNX
• Work with System SMEs to transfer aircraft system architectures into digital design environment as well as optimize system designs
• Ensure designs meet Part 25/CS25 Requirements

Configuration Management

• Establish and Support Configuration Management Process
• Engineering degree from an accredited university, and experience with related software tools such as SiemensNX preferred.

Salary: $100,000-190,000 per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
