Volt is immediately hiring a Model Based System Design Engineer
As a Model Based System Design Engineer you will:
- Support Digital Design implementation for JetZero
- Support generation of “Digital Environment and Data Management” plan for JetZero
- Develop Processes, Best Practices and Procedures for JetZero Model Based Design in compliance with ARP4754A
- Directly engage with SMEs to Establish Validation and Verification methods for the various aircraft systems
- Support digital thread from aircraft level requirements down to system detailed design
- Work with Digital Tool provider to improve/implement tool features and functions
- Support development of Systems Integration Lab via digital design
Design Engineering
- CAD Design of Aircraft systems and structures within SiemensNX
- Work with System SMEs to transfer aircraft system architectures into digital design environment as well as optimize system designs
- Ensure designs meet Part 25/CS25 Requirements
Configuration Management
- Establish and Support Configuration Management Process
- Engineering degree from an accredited university, and experience with related software tools such as SiemensNX preferred.

Salary: $100,000-190,000 per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
