The Mobility Logistics Analyst will facilitate and monitor data collection, conduct analysis, develop reports, recommend actions and assessment to Strategic and Operational Logistics Planning in support of MARFORPAC G-4 Mobility Branch’s missions: Unit Deployment Program (UDP) transportation Program Manager (PM); Title X service component responsibilities; Air and Surface lift validator for Marine Forces in the Pacific.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend meetings when required and participate by answering questions and providing input to topics. Examples of meetings include the USINDOPACOM Joint Movement Working Group.
- Provide program and technical support on and off-site, for force deployment planning and execution related to:
- Verify accuracy of validated Special Assignment Airlift Mission (SAAM) requirements supporting all operational efforts validated by the MFP SMO.
- Verify accuracy of Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) in support of requirements as it relates to Strategic Airlift and Sealift validated by the MFP SMO.
- Request permission to the MARFORPAC G4 Conference Room Calendar; create, maintain, and justify reservation space as required; reserve room for Contractor and Government employees that ensure the room is scheduled with a computer and has access to NIPR/SIPR platform; ensure test connection to internal and external agencies are completed.
- Ensure the G4 collaboration and knowledge management (KM) tools maintain functionality and are optimized to be more effective. Tasks includes all planning, management, maintenance request, operation of interfacing software platforms, and training.
- Ensure weekly Strategic Mobility Branch documents and decisions are sufficiently supported by analysis.
- Provide demonstrations and/or training of collaboration tools, such as SharePoint, to MARFORPAC G4 staff.
- Produce meeting minutes for relevant information management, data collection, and monitoring.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree required.
EXPERIENCE
- Previously served in a military uniformed service, with related experience in transportation operation, mobility and or distribution.
- Has served on a staff/ board or in an organization in a position of responsibility.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience in understanding orders, direction, workflow processes and can meet/has met deadlines.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
A Secret security clearance is required for this position.
