Job Description
- Provide visibility of service materiel and force flow requirements, identify distribution resource shortfalls, make recommendations for theater transportation movement priorities in accordance with (IAW) Global Combatant Commander (GCC) priorities.
- Reviews and analyzes airlift reports to assess health of distribution system and future move plans. Analyzes capability shortfalls, alternatives, and enhancements to the theater transportation system.
- Provide recommendations for improvements to theater distribution which include expansion and efficiency of lines of communication (LOC) capabilities.
- Utilizes Global Air Transportation Expeditionary System (GATES), Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Single Mobility System (SMS), and Integrated Global Transportation (GTN) information systems to monitor theater deployment and distribution operations.
- Be familiar and versed in the USCENTCOM Time Phase Force Deployment Data (TPFDD) Letter of Instruction (LOI) and applicable USCENTCOM joint logistics and distribution regulations.
- Provides Intra-Theater expertise/reach back to U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) and Tanker Airlift Control Center (TACC) inter- to intra-theater linkage.
