Atlas Copco is looking for a TMC Mobile Technician to coordinate the activities of at our Tool Management Centers (TMC) at multiple customer locations. As a TMC Mobile Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects in supporting the TMC including setup, diagnosis and configuration of tooling, maintaining the preventative maintenance and calibration schedule of the tooling population, the logistics of shipping tools in and out of the customer's facility, and working directly with the onsite employees and the customer. You will work well as part of a team to accomplish the task at hand, deliver training to team members and support the TMC atmosphere.
You will report to the Regional Team Leader and support customers in the Illinois and Iowa region. The preferred location for candidates is Bloomington, IL, Normal, IL, or Decatur, IL. Customer locations include: Rivian (Normal, IL), Caterpillar (Decatur, IL), John Deere (Davenport, IA & Dubuque, IA).
What we expect of you
Ability to travel up to 60% locally & 40% nationally - this will be regionally dependent
Ability to work a flexible work schedule
2 years' experience in a production environment working with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling or data collection systems
Have an interest and passion in furthering knowledge of industrial tooling
Efficient in computer systems, such as MS Office, and networking/database experience
At least 2-3 years of experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
Customer service experience and ability to communicate across all levels of an organization
A High School diploma or GED is required
Have a valid U.S. driver's license
Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
