Mobile Phlebotomist - Independent Contractor

We are looking for some great PRN phlebotomists who can work select areas of the country when assistance is needed. If you have a great personality and want to make some extra money, this position is for you!

Basic Job Duties are:

• Verifies test requisitions; bringing discrepancies to the attention of lab or account representative.
• Verifies patient identity
• Obtains blood specimens by performing venipunctures and fingersticks.
• Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following company procedures.
• Tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection; maintaining documentation of collections performed.
• Performing glucose, lipid, A1C, and hemoglobin tests; recording results; reporting results to patients.
• Ability to develop a rapport and enlist trust with patients.
• Ability to work with small children.

List of Requirements for this position:

• MUST own a centrifuge.
• MUST have basic phlebotomy supplies.
• MUST have reliable transportation.
• MUST have or be willing to acquire professional liability insurance.
• MUST be willing to submit a criminal background check.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
