Mobile Phlebotomist

MPH Medical is looking for a highly motivated, experienced phlebotomist who is able and willing to work independently and travel to client sites in order to perform blood draws, medical specimen collection, and specimen processing. Part Time position(s). Potential Full Time position(s).

Availability Monday - Friday, daytime.

Willingness to travel:

Routes and hours vary depending on location. Must be confident to travel and willing to travel 100% of the time. Territory : Lakes of the Ozarks, MO.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and sterile work environment, assembling all medical supplies before preparing patients for blood draws, and collecting samples from the facilities and residents visited.

Mobile Phlebotomist Responsibilities:

• Traveling to specified locations to draw blood samples as required
• Management of time/schedule
• Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying identifications
• Disinfecting extraction sites
• Locating suitable veins and extracting blood samples using clean needles
• Cleaning puncture sites and covering them with gauze
• Appropriately storing blood samples in accordance with established guidelines
• Accurately labeling blood samples
• Maintaining accurate patient records, which includes detailing collection sheet (will train)
• Processing and transporting collected blood samples to drop off site

Successful candidates need to be very customer-oriented and responsible; must have the ability to work well independently with follow through on tasks. Applicants must look and act professional and have great patient and customer interaction skills.

Mobile Phlebotomist Requirements:

• Proven experience drawing blood samples
• Mobile experience
• Certification preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Vaccinated
• Cell Phone
• High school diploma or GED
• Organizational skills
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Effective communication skills
• Detail-oriented

Job Type: Flexible Hours

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Start pay is based on experience and skills.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• 6:00 AM/8:00AM - 5:00PM working hours
• Monday to Friday
• 2 - 30 hours

Experience

• Phlebotomy: 3 year (Required)
• Customer Service: 3 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Preferred)
